Winnipeg in Springtime

Some of my most vivid memories of Winnipeg (my birthplace and the place I spent the first 20 some odd years of my life) is in the springtime, when the snow is melting. In the back lane behind the house, there is a dip where the water doesn't quite drain, and the result is an enormous puddle fit for rubber-boot-wearing fun. Sophia was able to experience this for the first time, and even help out a bit with the traditional "clearing the ice from the drain so the garage doesn't flood" activity...
