Winnipeg at Easter

Another springtime tradition in Winnipeg is the easter-egg hunt. Sophia woke to a beautiful easter basket and an array of jelly-beans and other egg-shaped goodness hidden throughout the house. It was difficult not to help her look, since Adam and I knew all of the good hiding spots from years of experience. We knew to look on the ledges, on the edge of stairs, on the top of books, and in amongst the scrolling metal decorations at the entrance to the living room. Of course, as is common in the great easter egg hunt, some eggs will definitely have been missed, and I hope they are discovered before they start to smell. Sugar is a preservative, right>]?
