Easter 2011

We had a wonderful Easter morning. The kids woke up early, and readied themselves for the hunting of eggs. I had to work two services Easter morning, so everything happened early. Sophia and Jacob quickly found the baskets Nana had made for them, and went looking for Easter Bunny goodies.

More goodies. Sophia was great at helping Jacob find his share of eggs. Usually it meant that she would find the stash and then bring him his "fair share". He didn't really care as long as he had something to put in his basket. The more exciting thing was the packages waiting for them which included new pajamas and some new book sets. Sophia got the entire set of Junie B. Jones novels and Jacob got the "How Do Dinosaurs..." set.

Breakfast was the colored eggs we had made the day before, and then I headed off to Brora and Grand Coulee for preaching. The rest of the group went to church as well. We had a nice dinner with the Markewich family to end our great holiday.
